  • Wingspan: 14.3 to 15.1 in.
  • Habitat : Forests, savannas, wetlands, and urban areas in Central and South America
  • Conservation Status: Least Concern (Population stable)
  • Fun Fact: Spectacled owls can be scared off by much smaller birds despite technically being their predator. Even hummingbirds have been know to scare off the spectacled owl!
