• Wingspan: 3.0 to 3.3 ft.
• Habitat : Forests and savannas in South America
• Conservation Status: Least Concern (Population stable)
• Fun Fact: Black caracaras have a mutualistic relationship with tapirs and are often seen picking parasites off of them. When tapirs spot the caracaras they call out to eachother to gather!
