  • Wingspan: 3.9 to 4.8 ft.
  • Habitat : Tropical rainforests or dry tropical forests in South and Central America
  • Conservation Status: Near threatened (Population decreasing)
  • Fun Fact: Ornate hawk-eagles typically lay only a single egg in their clutch. The eggs are not particularly large, measuring about 2.4 by 1.7 inches!
