  • Habitat : Open areas near rivers in South America and Southern North America
  • Conservation Status: Least Concern (Population stable)
  • Fun Fact: The crested caracara feeds off of dead animals, live animals, and occasionally fruit. It has even been known to follow trains and cars to scavenge food!
